Jeremy & Lisa are ENGAGED!!

Zach & I usually don't make a very big deal out of Halloween, but this year turned out to be extra special! Our friend Jeremy had told us he was wanting to propose to his girlfriend, Lisa. His proposal plans kept getting pushed back, but he decided he was definitely going to do it on Halloween. We went to their house under the disguise that we were going to carve pumpkins & watch 'The Nightmare Before Christmas' (which we really did do!). Jeremy then cooked up Lisa's favorite meal of spaghetti, however, none of us could really eat anything because we were so nervous! Once we were finished Jeremy said that he had a video he wanted us to watch, that no one had ever seen before. He put in the most adorable movie which showed pictures of him & Lisa while their favorite song played in the background. As soon as the video started Lisa began to cry, but she still had no idea that he was going to propose! Once the film ended Jeremy got down on one knee & asked Lisa to marry him!! She started to scream, & cry! I have never see someone so excited! It was amazing that we got to be a part of their special night, & now Lisa will always have pictures to look back on! We celebrated with a glass of champagne & then walked over to Maggiano's for dessert & drinks. It was an incredible night & we are so happy for our wonderful friends! They will have a beautiful marriage!

Fall fun!

Each year our family goes to a corn maze to kick of the fall celebrations (Halloween, Thanksgiving, etc.)! The first year we went, it was almost impossible for us to find our way out. We probably spent a good hour & a half wandering around in circles, before I finally gave up & went out the emergency exit! However, last year, it only took us 10 minutes to get out of the corn maze so we just went right back in & tried it again. Our goal for this year was to try & make it to the corn maze early in October before all of the corn was trampled. Unfortunately with Zach's crazy work/school schedule, we ended up going the very last weekend it was open. Oh well! There was quite a large group of us: Zach, Emily, Gavin, Mom, Malaya, Jenna, Trevor, Chester, Kevin, Carol, Sharla, Eric, & I! We all met up with Zach's parents at Rubio's beforehand to grab some dinner. When we got to the corn maze we found out that it was half price because the corn was majorly damaged from the snow. It was barely over our head in some places, but we had a lot of fun!

Here is Zach holding Gavin, one of the sweet little children we were babysitting that night!

All of the "kids" at the corn maze!
